WWII Japanese Completely Hand Painted "Good Luck" Flag (Blood Stains and Province) Small Displayable Size!
WWII Japanese Completely Hand Painted "Good Luck" Flag (Blood Stains and Province)
I’ve never seen a Good Luck flag with a crudely hand painted meatball, making this particular flag rare by that detail alone not including the history behind it.
I got this flag from the son of the Veteran who picked it up in battle.
This Bloody Meatball flag was picked up off a 18 year old Japanese Soldier who was killed in action. Robert (Bob) Edward Stowers Sr. took the flag home as a war souvenir.
The flag is signed by the Japanese soldiers family and girlfriend with wishes of good luck and victory.
The flag was attempted to be returned to the family not many years ago and was rejected because “He was not a Officer”.
