WW2 German Rare Original Heer Tropical (DAK) M43 Tunic
This beautiful tunic was issued during the last months of the Afrika campaign in 1943. The M43 saw limited use in Africa but saw widespread use in the Mediterranean, Southern Russia and the Baltic region till the wars end.
This battle worn Feldbluse is in fantastic condition for its age with a field repair on the right shoulder, combat wear and stains here and there making it the prefect display piece!
There is a size and RBN number stamp behind the main button flap.
The breast eagle is textbook machine stitched at the top edge and finished with meticulous ziz-zag hand stitching.
The sleeves and bandage pocket have pressed paper buttons.
Each pocket flap has a number stamped on the back side.
While inspecting the pockets I discovered some lite colored grains of sand and some strange grass I have never seen before. Perhaps some telling clues to where she spent her last days of the war?
Overall an amazing top shelf item for any collection!
