Originally a single decal Heer M40, Zimmermit camo and possible Ex white wash. This helmet was given a thick brushed on camouflage coating of dark field grey paint thickened with zimmerit. ( the stuff Germans coated their tanks with to prevent magnetic mines from sticking). The silhouette of a shining Heer decal can be seen between the brushstrokes. Liner band and split pins present, leather looks to been blood rotted and removed judging by the remanence stuck on the front side of the brow area liner band.
