Original WW2 German Uber Fresh NS66 M40 Ex Heer Single Decal Complete Helmet Set Low batch Number
Straight from my personal collection is this near mint size 66 M40 army helmet.
Lets start off with the very low lot number DN34. Decal was period removed per regulation, leaving a few bits of decal on the corners.
The liner is in fantastic condition and still nice ans supple. On the liner is written the name Bam and the inside of the leather is well marked.
The chin strap also matches the fantastic condition of the shell in liner and also matches the year of issue 1940 and is made by G. Vogel Chemnitz.
Over all a unmatched textbook M40 combat helmet. No exception to the rule with this fantastic piece!
