Original World War II operations of the 71st Infantry Division map was drawn by Emil Albrecht and Roland Wille in 1946. Albrecht served as a draftsman in the headquarters section of the 71st Infantry Division.
The 71st division fought in the Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. The division arrived at Le Havre, France on February 6, 1945 and saw its first action on 11 March 1945.
This very large poster is in rough but good displayable condition with some old tape repairs. Would look fantastic framed.
Included with this map is a letter from a B17 crew man who was shot down during WWII.
