Captain Paul C. Brown of the 423rd Infantry Regiment Captured this map case sometime after the D-Day Invasion Somewhere in France and stored all his maps, orders and reports in it dating to the latest one in June 1945.

The German map case its self is in very good condition and no cracking on leather straps, still very flexible and usable on a mannequin. Inside is a German celluloid map sleeve marked Dresden 1939. The case and sleeve alone are hard to find and worth quite a bit to collectors, not to mention this one was Captured and stuffed full of fantastic maps, paperwork and electric, colored pencils.

One of the maps is marked full of interesting notes and hand written detail, that map is in very good condition! It would frame fantastically.

It also comes with another very large map in decent condition and one more in water damaged condition.
